We are a friendly family run B&B located just off Milford Marina. We have been running our bar, bed & breakfast since 1992 and have built up a reputation for providing comfortable accommodation at reasonable prices.
Ideally located, for many of the offshore and onshore activities, including the Shark Fishing Trips, Scuba Diving, Dolphin Watching, Exploring The Islands and walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

We are also only a short walk from the Torch Theatre, Phoenix Bowling Alley and the award winning Milford Marina.
Somewhat Famous Since 1840
Our historic bar and B&B has been accommodating Seafarers and Tourists for over 175 years and is full of history, character and maritime artefacts.

History Timeline
- 1840-45 Run by Mary le Hunte and was a meeting place of the ‘Good Samaritans’ benefit society.
- 1914 The pub survived a determined attempt by the local temperance brigade to have it closed, mainly on the grounds that there were five pubs within 400 yards.
- 1961 Run by Irishman Jimmy and June Murphy who noted that the ship’s cooks used to serve crewmen their meals in the pub, having tired of waiting for them to return to their vessels.
- 1978 The pub was used for numerous scenes in the filming of the popular BBC series The Onedin Line and the car park of the pub was transformed by the film crew to look like a 19th century exterior with the laying of hundreds of metres of turf and various props.
- 1992 The Heart of Oak was taken over by the current landlords Tim and Caroline Caddey.
